“Journey to Atlantis” Take the plunge! Journey to Atlantis is NOW OPEN. The first of its kind in the USA, it’s part roller coaster, part water ride. Start your journey by boarding a sixteen passenger boat and climbing the 100-foot-high lift into a turntable which rotates you backwards. Take a moment to enjoy the panoramic view of San Antonio. Then take a backward dive through a reverse camelback and into the second turntable. One more spin and then take a final plunge at 49 miles per hour through a wall of water.

Many of the tours are interactive, and each is a unique aquatic adventure! Sea Lion Interaction Program Meet curious, energetic California sea lions during the Sea Lion Interaction Program. This memorable program is offered year-round for an additional charge. Participants assume roles as "apprentice animal trainers" and engage in a splashy encounter of the sea lion kind. This hands-on learning opportunity at the world's largest marine life adventure park begins with a classroom session on sea lion anatomy and physiology. The animal interaction portion of the program takes place on both land and in the water. Participants learn hand signals to request various behaviors such as spins, hops, flips, vocalizations and even smiles. They also get to feed the animals and give them special treats such as rubdowns. Participants must be 10 years or older and be at least 48 inches tall. An adult must accompany those under 18 years of age. If you are participating on a day that SeaWorld is open, park admission is required and not included in the Sea Lion Interaction Program price.
